So far Barry Herem has produced the 19 art cards shown here. More are planned, usually one new card per year. Most also exist as large format prints. The cards are each 5 X 7 inches as shown and are supplied with envelopes. $2.50 per card, or $2.00 each for a dozen or more. Send your orders to: RavCoast@aol.com.

All cards are text-free inside. On the back they include explanatory comments on the images.                  

17. Red Raven. This card with text on the reverse suggests Raven, the main
Northwest Coast myth figure, as transformer. He can be and do anything
including choosing his color wardrobe; red and black being the primaries
in North Coast imagery. It is based on a work in painted steel which
can be seen under Works In Steel on this website.

18. Power of the Radiant Heavens. This image is based on a large-format
silkscreen print from 1978 and represents a Tlingit-style sun face in the
center surmounted by a Nootkan-style Thunderbird, flanked on the left by
a mythological sea-monster, on the right by a sea-wolf, and below by a
Haida-style combination raven and killer whale. Text on back of card.
