Barry Herem - lithographs - Design for a Canoe # 1 and 2

1. Design for a Canoe # 1 and 2, these are the first two prints in Herem's oeuvre, dated 1968. They represent two forms of an eagle flying low over water, the one (No.1) with extended talon (and literally designed to be painted on the bow of a canoe) the other with wings folded back, (for the stern, in fact both still serve as designs painted on Herem's ocean going canoe in which he travels the Northwest Coast during summers). Each is 10 X 18, a few still exist, non-archival stock. $100.00 each.
