Thunderbird, after the art forms of the Nuu Cha Nulth (or Nootkan) people of the west side of Vancouver Island, this Thunderbird claps its wings over a stormy sky of clouds split by lighting, primary features related to the many Northwest Coast myths of Thunderbird. He features the small face of man representing the human being who has transformed into the bird above. Four colors on archival stock, 31 X 25 ½, 1983. $300. Sold out.
